FAQ

    How are the paintings packaged?

Framed canvases are protected with bubble wrap, then packaged in corrugated cardboard and wrapped in Kraft paper.

Small unframed paintings on acrylic paper come with a window mount and backing board and are protected in a cellophane bag. They are then delivered in a 12" record LP mailer or cardboard box for more than 2 items.

    What is your shipping information?

Delivery to the UK is included. I tend to dispatch all my orders within 5 working days. I will provide the tracking reference once it has been dispatched.

If you live outside the UK, please contact me at mail@nickpurser.com or via the contact page to make a purchase and arrange delivery. For delivery overseas, shipping prices depend on destination, size and weight. In some cases, collectors will pay taxes and customs fees on artwork they purchase, depending on their country of residence. For further information about these fees, you may check with your country's custom office.

    What is your returns policy?

It's OK to change your mind. I have a no-hassle 14-day return policy. Just return the undamaged artwork and frame (if applicable) within that period and I will process a full refund minus any shipping fees. You will need to cover the cost of return shipping to my studio. Please note, all shipping costs are non-refundable. To start the refund process please contact me via email: mail@nickpurser.com or via the contact page.

    Is my payment secure?

None of your financial information is stored on my website's servers. The payment process is completely PCI compliant - verified and secured by Shopify. All sensitive customer data is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer technology (SSL).

Do I own the copyright for my painting?

No. In accordance with the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act, 1988, copyright in the Artwork shall remain the property of the Artist at all times. You may not produce any image of the Artwork and may not, at any time, publish or submit for publication or reproduction any image of the Artwork to any third party, including any internet website, for any purpose.

Can you tell me more about the frames?

The frames are solid wood, painted in a soft antique metallic gold or silver. Antique means they have a slightly weathered look. They come with a simple hanging kit included. They are 'floating' frames which means there is an approximate 5 mm gap between the canvas and the inner frame edge. Sometimes canvases are not perfectly square so please expect and allow for a slight variation in the width of this gap. I fix all the canvases within the frames myself and do my very best to make sure the gap is as even as possible all the way around the canvas. Overall, the framed paintings are light and the large weighs between 3.5 and 5 kgs.

Can I have a private viewing?

If you would like to view the work in person, I would be happy to schedule an appointment and welcome you to my studio in Letchworth, Herfordshire. Anything you choose can then be wrapped and taken away with you. Use the Contact section to get in touch.
